When Fletcher Huddleston went from being an outgoing and lively 5-year-old to one who was lethargic and bruised easy, his parents knew something wasn’t right. Routine tests prior to a tonsillectomy found that the young boy had very low platelets.

According to a report in the Tallahassee Democrat, further tests revealed Fletcher had B-cell lymphoma which had spread to his bone marrow. Friends of the family quickly launched a GoFundMe page and have already raised $35,000 towards treatment for the brave fighter.

Fletcher had to undergo chemotherapy, but his family said on the Fletcher the Fighter Facebook page that he has just completed his last round of chemo and is well on his way back to good health.
